Whats in a name?

Well 5 Minute Gaming actually came from the idea that one could program a game in 5 minutes. It was meant to be a competition where programmers would compete to create their game in 5 minutes.  Practically impossible for the full development process and definitely not a reality any time soon.

Games take years to fully mature and develop many project teams sometimes try and finish within a year or two.  Depending on the type of game this becomes more difficult.

It's all about the fun?

There is almost certainly fun in playing games.  The thrill you get from destroying your first boss to discovering a hidden feature in an action adventure.  The anticipation of the next best title coming to your home theatre and a large pass time with friends and family.

Currently 5 Minute Gaming is only developing one in house title which is a Java applet game for online web gaming.  Through the use of the java language it is possible to offer such an exciting entertainment venue that is quickly becoming common place to children and the current generation.

Being a propnent of the Independant Games Industry the founder of 5 Minute Gaming is also working with other online development groups to create new and exciting games for everyone to enjoy no matter how small their wallets or in the spirit of the new millenia no matter how small their electronically accessible bank accounts.  To view the project pages of these indie groups check out the links section.

Looking to the Future!

Starting with the online gaming and web gaming market the founder of 5 Minute Gaming hopes to expand into the Electronic Entertainment Industry and within a few years release a major software title.
